Engineering Coordinator

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Langport, who are actively seeking to engage an Engineering Co-Ordinator on a permanent basis to join the team.

What you will be doing:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant team, as Engineering Co-ordinator you will support the effective running of the Engineering Department through managing the database and compiling Engineering Reports :

  • Ordering parts and managing stock updating the Purchase Order system
  • Working closely with key suppliers to minimise lead times and to maintain stock availability
  • Managing the database including housekeeping and work scheduling
  • Report collation as and when required to include overtime, utilities usage etc
  • Assisting with producing Planned Preventative Maintenance Schedules
  • General administration duties including ensuring that all documentation is audit ready
  • Adhic project work as and when required

What you will need to succeed:

  • Excellent communicator with strong administration skills and the ability to assimilate technical information into reports, spread sheets and graphs.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage your own workload
  • Good IT skills to include MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience within engineering /work scheduling / stock control would be beneficial

What you will receive in return:

  • To £25,000 (DOE)
  • Monday to Friday - full time
