Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our established client in the Chippenham area who urgently seek an Engineering Design Manager on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
In this pivotal role, you will be involved with the following :
Key Responsibilities :
- Managing the total engineering of their product range from design to production
- Supervision of the engineering team
- Coordinating the product design process
- Developing and writing legislative requirements for products
- Project management
- Liaison with a number of different departments including sales and production
What you will need to succeed:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Proven Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical expertise
- Technical product knowledge and understanding of the product design process
- Strong commercial acumen including reporting skills
- Good organisational, problem solving and prioritisation skills
