Maintenance Co-ordinator

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our client in Frome, who are actively seeking to engage a Maintenance Co-Ordinator to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

As Maintenance Co-Ordinator you will work with the engineering team, project team and factory manager and have responsibility for collating information required to optimise maintenance performance. This role will evolve over time as the maintenance department develops so a great opportunity to grow with the role.

  • Analyse planner preventative maintenance, frequency, and content to ensure they match production requirements
  • Generate detailed work instructions for maintenance and work orders/PPMs
  • Take control of new equipment maintenance procedures and requirements
  • Assist maintenance planner with detailed PPM tasks and material list development
  • Analyse each job role within engineering and review with lead process engineer
  • Work with the stores administrator to improve purchasing procedure, budget development, stores management and supplier database
  • Engineering stores holiday cover where required
  • Add new parts onto Infor (CMMS), reviewing minimum order quantities, frequency of use and rationalise uncontrolled parts
  • Assist engineering team and the set-up pf mobile tablets and barcode scanning of parts and equipment
  • On site referent for Infor training, development, modernising, and report generating etc
  • Complete administration work for the on-site projects team. Including planning, scheduling, and contract controls.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Experience working in a similar role as Maintenance Co-Ordinator within a manufacturing environment.
  • Organised able to plan ahead
  • Comfortable to challenge colleagues to 'get things done'
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Engineering background is not essential.
