Mechanical Sales Manager, permanent career opportunity for a qualified/time served mechanical engineer who can demonstrate a wealth of mechanical engineering knowledge and skills in a sales capacity. This is a full-time position based in Wiltshire, working Monday to Friday offered with an annual salary up to £55,000, with an annual travel to work subsidy of £1300 plus a range of attractive employee benefits. We are seeking a candidate with a robust understanding and appreciation of a Tooling/CNC environment, someone who has worked within manufacturing for at least 5 years, looking for the next career move.

You will work closely with global customers who require bespoke, manufactured products used in the Aerospace, Defence and F1 sectors, which requires a professional and confident representative when managing and delivering high value customer requests. Naturally, there is a consistent need to assess quality and standards, with exceptional customer expectations. You will need to read and understand technical drawings, prepare, and submit customer order responses, work with the production team to assess progress of customer orders, whilst working in collaboration with the key stakeholders and wider sales team. Responsible for arranging and attending customer meetings, preparing, and presenting sales presentations, driving through new and increased business levels, supported by the technical design, finance and quality teams.

As Mechanical Sales Manager your duties will include providing customer proposals, product quotes and pricing options, assisting in the customer enquiry from initial meeting, customer purchase, delivery of goods and after sales support. Having the ability to meet service level agreements, whilst assessing KPI's per each customer is key to the success of this role. This coupled with the need to manage the internal sales database and CRM systems, maintaining communication throughout the business to ensure that the customer request is managed effectively and efficiently.

You will have proven sales and managerial skills combined with a solid business development/sales track record within manufacturing/mechanical engineering and excellent organisational skills. Ideally educated to time served/mechanical degree engineering level, this is a great career opportunity that will utilise your proven sales and technical knowledge.
